RANDOM THOUGHTS ON A MONDAY

it’s been a while since the last post.  have decided to slowly get back into posting regularly, even if it’s some of the random thoughts that pop up in my brain every now and then…think of it as a really loooong fb status message.

I dont sleep much.  So, I spend a lot of time surfing the web, checking out random sites and yes, checking my facebook news feed.  And sometimes I just can’t help but notice a few things.

1.  SAD NEWS DAY

it’s not just a slow news day, but a sad one when news sites are filled with articles about Kris Aquino and her social network drama.  Who the hell cares if she unfollows Judy Ann Santos?

2. AND THE WINNER IS…

no matter what you have to say about her father, the winner in the Jerika-Kris battle si Jerika.  KRIS AQUINO is a bully and a brat.

3.  FIFTY SHADES OF HEY!

no one is holding a gun to your head to watch this movie, no one held guns to people’s heads to read the book.  and if you did, and you took the whole thing seriously, then the one with the problem is you…not the producers, not the writers.  and if you are worried about your kids emulating Christian Grey then that’s on you, not the producers, not the author.

4.  DANIEL PADILLA

Promise.  Maybe cause I’m not a teenager anymore, but he’s not a very good actor, his speaking voice is kinda grating and he can’t sing that well.

5. COCO MARTIN

Yes he’s a good actor.  I think we’ve established that.  Now let’s work on his diction and his pronounciation.  Surely it’ll only be to his benefit if he can pronounce the letter “f”

MISERY LOVES COMPANY

I’m bored, stuck at home and wanted a break from catching up on my TV show backlog, saw this on a friend’s FB wall and pressed play. And I kept trying to stop it but I just had to finish the video…so now I want to share the misery…why should I be the only one who’s suffering…PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINK

While watching the video, some thoughts came to mind:
1. What did Kris Aquino say that caused that look on Emma Stone’s face even before the interview start?
2. What’s with that accent and that voice? That’s not the accent she uses when she talks about her lovelife.
3. And what’s with those questions? As much as I dislike her, I always thought that beyond the kaka-ness, self-involved moments, Kris is an intelligent woman. She is after all an Ateneo graduate. She was trying way too hard that it left everyone, especially Emma Stone confused.
4. And then to go on air and say that Emma Stone wasn’t so nice? Maybe it wasn’t about Emma Stone but about Kris.

I know am spending an awful lot of time on a woman that annoys the hell out of me, but again, I am bored…I think it is time to take baby steps out of the house…
